Here is a typical use case to give you an idea how eCubeApps Workflow will work:

In your login add Users and Managers with the help of User Management module
Create a Form in your login, which need approval process
Add the required managers in Workflow page
Assign the Form to the added users and managers by using Permissions module
Submit an entry in user login
Now, the approval process starts from level1 manager (Every manager can have Approve, Reject and Revert options for entries)
Email Notifications will be sent to users/managers
